This is a great question to ask and you should ask it of any web design and development firm you are considering. Many firms will farm out work to freelancers or interns. Some firms give little or no access to client’s who want to speak directly with their designers or developers. Our clients work directly with our designers. Who that will be depends on your project needs and what stage of the process you are in during the project.

No. We agree a fixed price with you, which means you know exactly what you will pay. Quotes are always given before we start any work, and costs are clearly documented. The only time we would charge additional fees would be in the instances where a client requests a new page or some additional material or images for the website after work has commenced. Charges for additional work such as this are always given before the work starts.

Going back to personalised approaches, offering “marketing packages” is not personalised and generally turns every project into a copy-paste.

We take each project seriously and every business owner deserves the attention to detail to their project as we’re sure they’ve grown accustomed to.

Good question! Generally that’s not how it works. Every company has their own problems, which require customizable solutions.

There is so much that goes into a successful project, as a result it’s impossible to give pricing before we do our research into your business and find out exactly what solutions might work for you.

As long as we’re aware of the entire scope of the project prior to beginning the project, what we agree on is what you pay.

We might be more expensive than hiring a freelancer, and that is OK!; but we are more economical than hiring a full time marketing employee.

Let us know what your budget is for your project, and we’ll do our very best to make it happen!

Not quite. We’re a team who use our talents and experience to help small to medium-sized organizations, in a variety of ways. Some of those are in marketing and communications, but many of them are not.

Our services range, and so do our clients. Our mission is to have you reach your goals.

We offer a range of marketing services because we believe that’s what most companies need today

Domains

A domain name is a unique address which points to your website, ie. www.webteriordesigns.com. Many personal sites use only the domain name of their Internet Service Provider (ISP) but we strongly recommend you get your own domain name.

E-Mail

Yes we can offer you professional IMAP email and webmail accounts that work seamlessly with your domain name. All accounts are virus scanned at the server level so your risk of catching a virus is greatly reduced.

Hosting

Web hosting is the process of renting some web space in order to publish your website online. Web hosting companies offer several web hosting packages. We will help you to determine which one is the best for your requirements.

Marketing

Just like you, your prospective clients are busy and they do not have the time to check your content every minute of the day. Research suggests that you should follow this schedule.

  • Twitter  1-3pm weekdays
  • Facebook  1-4pm weekdays
  • LinkedIn 7-8:30am and 5-6pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Tumblr   7-10pm weekdays and 4pm on Fridays
  • Instagram  5-6pm weekdays and 8pm on Mondays with a sweetspot at 6pm
  • Pinterest  2-4pm and 8-11pm weekdays with weekends being the best

These times are suggestive based on research, and interaction analytics.

You can post however amount of times that you’d like, but a study has been done that gives recommendations regarding the consistency of the amount of times you should post per social media site.

  • Twitter – 3 times per day, or more
  • Facebook – 2 times per day, at most
  • LinkedIn – 1 times per day
  • Pintrest – 5 times per day
  • Instagram – 1.5 times per day, or more
  • Blog – 2 times per week

The above are not written in stone, but research suggests that your interactions will decrease the more you post.

Just because you don’t take an interest in Social Media, does not mean that your prospective clients don’t take an interest. There are customers out there leaving comments, reviews, and asking questions. If you are not there with them, you are missing out!

If you are not writing something that your customers care about, then you won’t be getting any attention from them or their acquaintances. Learn who your customers are and then write for them.

A large email list does not guarantee success. Start small and grow it, you can always start with your personal list, and branch off from there. Landing pages are a great way to start!

Email marketing is a way of reaching many people at once in order to encourage them to do business with you.

Just as content type depends on your unique brand, so does rate at which you release your content. A lifestyle brand may benefit from developing and sharing short snippets of content daily, while others may get more value out of creating long-form content once a week or twice a month.

No matter what works best for your business, however, strive for a consistent schedule. A regular schedule will boost your reliability and ensure that your audience anticipates your content.

For most businesses, the biggest content marketing mistake is jumping in without a coherent strategy. Like any type of marketing, you need a plan to get the results you want from content marketing. Launching a blog and producing posts regularly may never help you achieve your objectives if you don’t know what you want to accomplish or how to get there.

The beauty of content marketing is that it serves multiple purposes. Depending on your goals and the type of content you create, it could boost your brand in several different ways.

First, content marketing can increase awareness of your brand, especially if the material you produce has an educational angle. As customers get to know your brand and the value that it provides through high-quality content, you can also increase customer loyalty. As you grow your brand’s base, you can also generate website traffic and drive sales. Keep in mind that things like this do not happen overnight, these things take time! Be patient!

Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.

$0 Yes, you read that right!

We don’t work hourly because we believe that charging hourly prevents us from working to our fullest potential. Although hourly might be a good way for customers on a tight budget, we see many downsides in this approach:

  1. You don’t call us because the clock’s ticking
  2. Since it’s hourly, there might be a tendency to drag out the project – since we’d be getting more money out of it. (We won’t but we can).

Webterior Designs core ideology is that it’s far better to charge per project as opposed to hourly rate, but if you REALLY insist, we can do a hourly rate specific to your project.

Web Development

You can have as many pages as you’d like. In fact, the more the better from a search engine’s point of view!

Web development broadly refers to anything associated with developing websites. The web development process includes web design, web content development, client-side/server-side scripting and network security configuration, among other tasks.

Web development is also known as website development.

A website can reach millions of people that might not otherwise be available to you, think of it as a store front on a global level, open 24 hours a days, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Secondly, customers can view products, services, or whatever you want to share from the comfort of their own home and in their own time. Your website empowers your current customers and maximises marketing potential for future ones. No matter what type of business you are in, there are ways to grow and make money on the web for you.

When you receive a visitor to your site, they will instantly perceive the quality of your services or products. The first impression a customer or potential customer gets depends on the appearance of your website. A visitor will be interested and explore your site if it is appealing, easy to navigate and offers useful information. You are marketing yourself and your business to the world over the Internet and it is important to show your best.

This is a common misconception. Many people overlook the various products, services, or business processes they can include on a website. Any communication or interactions that happen within your business can be made easier and more efficient by the web. Your business will save money and time while appealing to a much greater audience, the world.
